Going from Idea to Business workshop

Learn what it takes to take an idea and turn it into a business. We will go over some of the key steps you need to take before, during and after you come up with a great idea. We will review the common pitfalls that stop people on their journey to entrepreneurship and how to overcome them. Come with or without an idea in mind, we will be selecting a few ideas from attendees and work through the process of validating their ideas and turning them into businesses.


James Goldman

James is a founder and CTO of Paintzen. He grew the company from an idea into a business that was acquired by the largest paint manufacturer in the world, PPG. Paintzen is James's second startup, but his first successful one. Prior to working in startups, James got a degree in Computer Science and another in Fine Art from Cornell University. James enjoys helping others start businesses and learn how to make them successful. He also enjoys working on computer vision projects and video games in his spare time.
